nor surprised
by the way you
try to distract me
from the truth
Between the falls
I ponder
yet I have conquered
those delicate
ill fated reasons
for failure
though you
can't seem to help yourself
Tempted to blow it
Just say it!

Sometimes the urge
to take away your smile
bleeds into my eyes
The colors flee from my mind
and choke all the pretty inside
